Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Social Work, Behavioral Science, or other related mental health fields (fresh graduates are preferred);
- Certification in Psychological First Aid (PFA), Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), or Mental Health First Responder (MHFR) is an advantage; applicants without certification are still welcome;
- Able to commit 2 hours per week (between 9:00 AM–9:00 PM) to provide online mental health support via Web Chat or Google Meet; candidates may choose their preferred day and time;
- Comfortable with active listening and providing emotional support to others;
- Has a reliable internet connection and a capable device to participate in online activities;
- Able to communicate in English and Filipino, both in writing and speaking;
- Available and committed to a 4-month online volunteer program and willing to attend online training sessions via Zoom.
Job Descriptions:
- Provide basic emotional support to individuals in need by listening to their stories and offering constructive feedback.
- Facilitate discussions on possible options without giving direct solutions.
- Complete session reports after each support session by our MH Support Online System.
- Participate in preparedness sessions before handling support cases (mandatory), team upgrading once a month (mandatory), and self development program (optional).
